Julia Secrest, of Magnolia, was honored as the KSI 2011 Employee of the Year during KSI’s 50th Annual Awards Dinner at the Sheraton Dover Hotel. She was also Employee of the Second Quarter 2011.

In presenting the Employee of the Year Award to Ms. Secrest, Jayson Crouch, KSI Vice President, said, “Julia is a unique award winner. Not only have I seen how KSI has helped Julia grow, but I’ve also learned from our staff how Julia has helped and touched them. It’s all about communication. Effective communication.”

Other employees of the quarter recognized for outstanding job performance and personal development during the awards dinner include: Leroy Hicks, Employee of the First Quarter 2011, Danita Williams, Employee of the Third Quarter 2011, and John Henning, Employee of the Fourth Quarter 2011. Each award winner received a Tribute from the Delaware State Senate sponsored by Senator Gary Simpson, and a Tribute from the House of Representatives co-sponsored by Representatives Harvey Kenton and Jack Peterman. The Employee of the Year, Ms. Secrest, also received a $100 VISA card from KSI and a Silver Eagle Coin from the Dover Federal Credit Union.
