All Safe After Vehicle Collides With PNC Bank

Milford Police Department

On Friday, July 6 at 11:23 am, The Milford Police responded to PNC Bank, located N. Dupont Blvd, after receiving reports of a vehicle colliding with the building. Police discovered that the 2006 Nissan Maxima had actually gone through the front entrance and came to rest inside of the bank. Investigation revealed that the vehicle was operated by Patricia Venett 69, of Milford. Venett mistakenly pressed the accelerator while parking, instead of the brake. No injuries were reported to the operator nor any patrons inside the bank. Members of Milford’s Carlisle Fire Department and City of Milford Officials also responded to assist at the accident scene. Venett was cited for Careless driving. No drugs or alcohol are suspected in the crash.
