The Mail Center Under New Owner

Linda and Josh Niehorster.

The Mail Center, located at 686 N Dupont Blvd in the Milford Plaza, has changed owners and is now looking to expand its business to include design services for other small businesses. The Mail Center was originally set up as a Mail Boxes etc. and was transferred into an independent business in 2002. New owner Linda Niehorster and her son Josh took charge of the facility last month and are excited to continue serving the Milford community.

Linda Niehorster is an establishes businesswoman in the region, running a variety of establishments including the H&R Block branches in Milford and Harrington. Her son Josh has worked with her through several business ventures and shares the same love of being an entrepreneur. They both agree that when economic times get hard it is that entrepreneur that keeps small communities alive.

“Jobs are scarce and I wanted to create jobs for my family and the community,” commented Linda. “This business is such a great fit for Josh with his background in art and ad design.”

Josh specializes in graphic design and gained his experience through the Delaware Department of Transportation’s sign shop and H&R Block. With those skills critical in today’s market, Josh hopes to take the Mail Center and expand its services to help surrounding local businesses.

“The Mail Center is more than just a drop box for mail,” stated Josh. “Although we do facilitate printings, mailings and shipping we also will work with small businesses to help with marketing through business cards, flyers, posters and concentrated mailings.”

The Mail Center can facilitate copy, fax, scan, email and print services, large format color printing, design services, mailbox rentals, Western Union services, rental office and shipping supplies and passport photos. They are the only the only business that is an authorized UPS, FedEx and USPS center in the region.

“We will take care of all the things you don’t have time to as a small business owner,” commented Josh, “We will help design your marketing, ship packages and be the one that waits in those long lines at the post office for you.”

The Mail Center is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. Located at 686 N. DuPont Highway, The Mail Center can be reached by calling 302-422-2200 or online at https://www.facebook.com/themailcentermilford.
