Gomez-Galvan Charged With Reckless Endangering

On 7/14/12 the Milford Police investigated a domestic incident at residence located in the double digit block of NW 10th St. German A. Gomez-Galvan, 32yo, of Milford, was charged with Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Aggravated Menacing, Reckless Endangering 1st (3 counts), Reckless Burning and Malicious Interference with a Emergency Call, Offensive Touching and Criminal Mischief Under $1000. Investigation revealed that it began when Galvan was involved in a verbal dispute with the 34yo female victim. During the dispute, Galvan took a match and lit a kitchen towel on fire in an attempt to burn the house down. Galvan then grabbed the phone from the 34yo female victim as she attempted to call for help. Galvan displayed a butcher knife and pointed at the 34yo female victim, the 3yo victim and the 4yo victim. The 34yo female victim was able to flee the residence on foot with her two small children and walk to the Milford Police Department. The victims were not injured. Galvan was arraigned and was committed to SCI in default of $52,000 secured bond.
