Grab some lawn chairs, a blanket, the neighbors and the kids for a night of fun for children of all ages. Watch The Little Rascals on the BIG outdoor screen on Wednesday, July 25, in the amphitheater behind the library. The show begins at 8:30p.m. The Joe Baione Trio Sounds of Jazz will play in Library Square Park at 7:00p.m. on August 1. The Friends of the Milford Library sponsor a snack concession with ice cream, hot dogs, chips, water, sodas, etc.
Children’s Corner
Dream BIG with BOXES! Bring dad along for Family Night on 7/27 at 6:30p.m. and build, build, build! You might get a visit from a very special builder! Please bring boxes!

Storyhour, for children ages 3-6, is held every Tuesday morning at 10:30a.m. and afternoon at 4p.m. Bring along your beach towel on 7/31 for Beach Day!

Join us for Toddler Time every Thursday morning at 10:30a.m. Toddler Time (1 & 2 yr. olds) is a mommy/daddy/grandma/nanny & me time with rhymes, songs, puppets, crafts and tons of fun.

BARK FOR BOOKS! is a program for beginning and struggling readers. Registered participants will practice reading with a therapy dog. The charismatic canines help create a non-threatening, non-judgmental, stress-free environment for students of all ages. Students read one – on – one to a dog. The program will be held every Wednesday afternoon from 4p.m. to 6p.m. Call the library for more information, or to make an appointment with a pup.

We’ll be “Digging for Dinosaurs” on Wednesday, August 1, at 11:00a.m. We’ll make our own fossils, dig for fossils, and make our own dinosaur.

Visit the Milford Public Library located at 11 S.E. Front St., overlooking Library Square Park. The library is open Monday through Friday, 9 am-8 p.m. and Saturday, 9 am – 2 pm.
