Topolski Charged With Terroristic Threatening

Milford police have arrested Justin Topolski, 31, of Milford and charged him with robbery, menacing and terroristic threatening following an incident on Tuesday, July 24th.

On Tuesday, July 24 the Milford Police responded to the areas of New St. and Pine St after receiving a report of a possible armed robbery. Upon arrival, Police made contact with the 25 year old victim and the 24 year old victim who were on walking on the roadway.

According to police, Topolski approached two victims whose car had broken down in the vicinity of New St. and Pine St., and demanded money from them. Topolski allegedly claimed he was armed with a handgun and would shoot the 25-year-old victim, who then fled the scene. Police claim Topolski then threatened the 24-year-old victim.

Police state that no money was obtained and neither victim was hurt by Mr. Topolski, who was later arrested in the vicinity of Pine Street and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $5,300 secured bond.
