Mezie Arrested For Terroristic Threatening

On Thursday, August 2, Milford Police arrested and charged Gislaine Mezie, 26yo of Milford, with Assault 3rd, Terroristic Threatening (2 counts), Offensive Touching and Disorderly Conduct. At 7:15pm the Milford Police responded to a residence in the 200 block of NW Front Street for a report of a domestic dispute. Police contacted a 38yo male victim standing outside of the residence that was said by police to be bleeding from a large laceration on his forehead.

The police investigation revealed that Mezie resides at the residence with the 38yo and another 52yo victims. The Police report states that Mezie attacked the 38yo male victim while he stood outside the residence, reportedly throwing a ceramic bowl from the second story balcony striking the 38yo victim in the head and then threatened to kill him. According to police, while inside the residence, Mezie then slapped the 52yo male victim in the face and threatened to kill him also.

The police report states that Mezie chased both victims outside the residence while striking them multiple times with a ceramic bowl. The 38yo male victim received medical treatment for his injury and was released. Mezie was arraigned through JP 2 and was released on $5000 unsecured bond.
