Milford Wins Kent County Tournament

Milford field hockey team, a mixed level team of Varsity and Junior Varsity,  won the Kent County Clash Tournament.  Going into the playoffs, the team was seeded 4th with a 2-2-1 record. In the semi-finals, Milford beat Delaware Shores club team 1-0, off a beautiful lift by upcoming senior Ally Melvin.  In the finals, Milford beat Lake Forest/Caesar Rodney team, in Overtime by strokes. Upcoming Senior Rebecca Yanacek stopped all 3 strokes while upcoming seniors Alyssa Mills and Sarah Silicato and upcoming junior Morgan Lingo scored.
