Public’s Help Wanted To Locate Adams

According to police Ms. Adams was taken into custody on Thursday, August 23 without incident at her residence on North Sagamore Drive in Milford shortly after 4 pm.  Ms. Adams was processed and arraigned via video phone at JP Court #2 in Lewes.   Ms. Adams has been committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $2500.00 secured bail.The Milford Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Agnes A. Adams, 63 of Milford. Warrants were obtained for Ms. Adams following an investigation into a suspicious package left in the lobby of the Milford Police Department on Northeast Front Street.

According to police, Ms. Adams was observed entering the lobby of the department and leaving a package that contained wording on it that lead officers to believe the package may contain a harmful substance. Ms. Adams fled prior to being contacted by officers.

Officers from the Delaware State Police Explosive Ordinance Division and Delaware Department of Natural Resources Air and Waste Division responded to the Milford Police Department, where they conducted further investigation and deemed the package to be safe. Warrants are on file for Ms. Adams for Terroristic Threatening.
