Milford Pop Warner football opened up its 2012 season by taking on Sussex Central this past Saturday. All four teams played tough with the Junior Pee Wee and Pee Wee teams notching wins. The Junior Pee Wees were led by running backs Rashawn Price and Nick Sivels who combined for 5 touchdowns in route to 33-14 victory. The Lil’ Bucs had a turnover free game and played four quarters of solid defense. Milford’s Pee Wee won their battle with Sussex Central, 18-0. David Bowman picked up where he left off from last season with 2 touchdowns, while Dontreze McDonald added a third. The defense played solid keeping the Golden Knights out of the end zone. Next up for the Lil’ Bucs is a trip to Smyrna to take on the Eagles this Saturday the 15th. The Mitey Mite team will begin the day with a 9am kickoff.
