Delivery Driver Robbed In Lincoln

The Delaware State Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver that occurred in Lincoln Saturday night.

According to police, the incident occurred at approximately 10:22 p.m. September 15th as the driver had stopped his car on 3rd Street in the area of Butler Avenue to set his GPS for the next delivery. Police state that the victim was approached from the rear of the car by a black male suspect that displayed a handgun and demanded his money, which the driver provided before the suspect fled away on foot.
