Gklotsos Killed In Dover Incident

Police are requesting information about the individual in this photo, calling him a “person of interest” in Monday’s homicide.

UPDATE: According to news reports, police have made two arrests in the case, and are no longer searching for the person of interest.

Dover police are investigating a Monday, September 17th incident that resulted in the death of 59-year-old Michael Gklotsos, who has been identified in reports as the owner of Dover’s Hollywood Diner and part-owner of the Milford Diner. Police have identified the case as a homicide by strangulation and a possible home invasion.

Police report that they responded to a female caller who reported that she had been abducted from a residence in the 100 block of Acorn Lane and was released unharmed. The female further advised police that a male subject at the residence was assaulted during what she reported to be a home invasion. Officers responded to the address in the 100 block of Acorn lane and reportedly discovered the 59 year old male victim deceased inside the residence. Police have released a photo (above) of a person of interest in the case.
