Christmas decorations are up and downtown looks very creative and festive. The Holiday Stroll excitement is on Friday, December 7 – enjoy!  Art events are ongoing all month, don’t miss any!

Anne Jenkins Art Gallery collaborates with Anita Peghini-Räber Gallery at 49 Baltimore Ave., in Rehoboth Beach to raise a bonus for an AIDS orphans support group in South Africa. During the month of December 10% of all sales in both galleries will go to the group. First State Academy of Dance performs at People’s Day, Saturday, December 8, 9:10-9:50 am at the Milford Senior Center. The Nutcracker Ballet performance is Saturday, December 22, 3:00 pm at Woodbridge High School. $6/children & senior citizens and $12/adults. Gallery 37 opens! Milford welcomes artist Marcia Reed at her gallery’s Grand Opening on Saturday, December 8 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Walnut St. Cellist, Deb Sherr, will be performing during the opening reception. Recently relocated to town, Reed and her artists will contribute much to Milford‘s art scene.  http://marciareedpainting.com.

The Music School of DE, Milford Branch special performance “Tis A Winter’s Evening,”  on Friday, December 14 at 7:00pm, Avenues United Methodist Church, 20 N. Church Street, Milford. Featuring Nathan Ames & Layne Thompson-Payne from the faculty and students.
