St. John’s Youth Group Helps Habitat

Members of the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church Confirmation Class came out and participated in an “A Brush With Kindness” project in Sea Air Village. A Brush with Kindness (ABWK) is a program of Sussex County Habitat for Humanity (SCHFH) that helps low-income homeowners by offering exterior home improvements. Volunteer teams work to improve the condition of homes by painting, landscaping, and performing minor exterior repairs at minimal costs to homeowners who would be unable to complete home repairs on their own. The youth volunteers led by Deacon John Yaeger, along with Delaware SCHFH AmeriCorps members, painted the home of Brian McCrossen.
