The Milford Police Criminal Division is currently investigating a shooting that took place on 12/1/12 around 3:00 am at Brightway Commons Apartment Complex (formerly known as Banneker Heights Apartment Complex). Detectives report that the 32yo male victim was on foot in the complex when he was confronted by an unknown black male, who brandished a handgun and shot the victim multiple times. The unknown black male reportedly fled from the area in an unknown direction and by unknown means. Police state that the victim was transported to Milford Bayhealth Hospital, was later transported and admitted to Christina Care Hospital and listed in stable condition, and that the victim has not cooperated with the investigation.
