Milford-Police-Department.jpg&MaxH=225&MaxW=225On Thursday, December 20 officers from the Milford Police Department’s Drug and Narcotics Unit, with the assistance of the Delaware State Police, arrested a 16 year old juvenile following a several week investigation into the sale of heroin. Officers state that when they attempted to contact the 16 year old juvenile in the 900 block of Southeast 2nd Street the juvenile fled on foot and was taken into custody following a short pursuit. According to police, the juvenile was found to be in possession of an undisclosed amount of heroin. The juvenile has been charged with 3 counts of Possession With the Intent to Deliver Heroin, 2 counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Mischief. The juvenile was arraigned at JP Court #2 in Lewes, where bail was set at $10,100.00 secured. The juvenile has been committed to the Stevenson Center in Milford and has a pending court appearance in the Sussex County Family Court.
