Pipe Rupture Relocates Patients, No Injures Reported

Earlier today, Tuesday, January 22, a pipe ruptured on the second floor at Milford Memorial on the unit known as 2 West. No injuries or disruption to patient care have occurred. 2 West is currently closed, and approximately 22 patients have been relocated to other areas of the hospital. The Central Supply and Administration areas were also impacted.

Additional information will be provided later today after the damage is assessed.

We request that visitors check in at the Guest Relations Desk in Milford before visiting patients today so that we can verify the patient’s room number. We appreciate the public’s assistance.
