Magic Mondays Excites Crowd

On Monday, January 21 Downtown Milford Inc. hosted their first of three Magic Mondays at the Milford Senior Center. With over 150 people in attendance, magician Chris Capehart amazed the crowd with his ability of superior sleight-of hand. Capehart has performed in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, New York, Philadelphia, Hollywood, Chicago, Denver and numerous other cities and has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Senator Crandall Award for Comedy.

Milford Magic Mondays will continue with two more shows. During the second performance, audience members will be introduced to “America’s Master Mentalist” Jon Stetson. Jon observes people’s patterns and steps inside their heads to read their minds. Over the past 30 Years President Bush, President Carter, The King of Sweden, The Royal Family of Monaco, Donald Trump, Bob Kraft & The New England Patriots and numerous celebrity audiences have experienced Jon Stetson worldwide.

The final performance will be hosted by Rich Bloch, owner of the Dickens Parlour Theatre. Rich has entertained audiences across the globe including Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Washington D.C. His accolades include two-time recipient of the Blackstone Award from the International Platform Association, six-time nominee of Stage Magician of the Year award and 2006 Fellowship recipient at Hollywood’s Magic Castle.

The doors open for each event at 6:30 with a cash bar and mingling. Shows start at 7:00 promptly and there will be refreshments for purchase following the first show. In addition, the magicians will be mingling as well as preforming table side magic work for a continued personalized magical experience.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. They are available at the Milford Senior Center, the Downtown Milford office or by calling 302-839-1180. Tickets may also be purchased online at: www.downtownmilford.org under the ‘Milford Magic Mondays’ tab.
