Police have arrested Tyrell Williams, 18, of Milford, along with a 16-year-old juvenile and have charged both with attempted armed robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, terroristic threatening, resisting arrest and second-degree conspiracy in connection with an incident on January 27, 2013.
Police allege that the two male suspects approached a 26-year-old male victim on the 500 block of SE 2nd Street and asked the victim for money. Upon refusal of the request, police claim the two suspects brandished CO2 pistols, which the victim allegedly believed to be real handguns. The victim is reported to have refused the request a second time. After receiving a report of the attempted robbery, police located Williams, the minor suspect and three other juveniles nearby. Police report arresting the two suspects after they initially resisted.
Addording to police, the juvenile suspect was arraigned through JP3 and released to the custody of his parents in addition to $12,250 unsecured bond, and Williams was also arraigned through JP3 and was committed to SCI in default of $12,250
