Family Wellness Expo and Baby Fair

Have you explored every option when it comes to better health for you and your family? Let Bayhealth help you do it. Bayhealth invites the community to discover pathways to better health at the 2013 Family Wellness Expo and Baby Fair on Saturday, March 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington.

We’ve all heard that healthcare costs are increasing, but it can be hard to know how to respond. Preventative care strategies can help you avoid chronic diseases and injuries, protecting your health AND your wallet. Over 40 Bayhealth departments, non-profit community groups, and other exhibitors will share information on healthy living options for families, seniors, and children. The Wellness Expo offers free screenings for cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, skin cancer, balance and posture, and sleep disorders.There will be lots of fun activities, raffles, entertainment, and giveaways the entire family will enjoy.

Also on March 16, at the Fairgrounds, please join us for the 17th annual Bayhealth Baby Fair, where new and expectant parents will find a wealth of materials about taking care of babies and small children. You will learn about Bayhealth’s classes on a wide range of topics including breastfeeding, childbirth, safe babysitting, and grandparenting. In addition to Bayhealth departments, community organizations will be on hand to share their services.
