First Wellness Fair A Success

The Milford School District held their first annual Community Wellness Fair on Saturday, March 16 at Milford Central Academy. Focusing on overall wellness in all 7 schools in the district throughout the year, Milford teachers and administrators invited Milford parents, families and community members to be involved with their child’s health and wellness education.

“The first annual Buc Pride Day and Wellness Fair was a very humbling experience, I was amazed at the community support and interest,” commented Sylvia Henderson, Director of Student Support at Milford School District. “The attendance far surpassed our expectations and I am very grateful to all of the Milford School District Staff from all 8 buildings that volunteered their time, as well as attended, to make this a huge success. We have already started making plans for next year.”
