State Representative Harvey Kenton, R-Milford, and State Senator Dave Lawson, R-Marydel, hosted Scout Troop 116 at Legislative Hall on April 18th. Representative Kenton said he fielded public policy questions from the visitors and also discussed scouting. Representative Kenton was a former Boy Scout in Milford, belonging to Troop 102 in the early to mid-1950’s. “That was a long time ago, but in its core values and the positive guidance it provides to youths, the heart of what the Boy Scouts are remains intact,” he said. Representative Kenton gave Scoutmaster Duane Fox Jr. a full-sized state and U.S. flag while Sen. Lawson provided a book to each scout on the history of the General Assembly.
