Woman Arrested For Providing False Statement

P. GalloriniOn Friday, May 31 Milford Police responded to the area of Royal Farms, located at 500 block of S. Dupont Highway, after receiving a report of a kidnapping. Police state that detectives located the female that stated she was being kidnapped along with the male, a tractor trailer driver, that she claimed to be kidnapped by. The two were located on S. Dupont Hwy near the intersection of US 113 and Johnson Rd. Detectives identified the female as Patricia O. Gallorini, 50 yo, of Germantown, Maryland. Accroding to police, investigation revealed that Gallorini was in the parking lot of Royal Farms store and got into the passenger seat of a vehicle operated by a patron that was not involved in the incident. Gallorini then told the patron that she had been kidnapped and needed help. Gallorini then got out of the vehicle and got back into a vehicle with the person she identified as the kidnapper, a male tractor trailer driver. Detectives state that they later discovered that Gallorini had not been kidnapped instead had been picked up in Maryland by a male tractor trailer driver the day before and willingly rode to Milford, Delaware with him. Gallorini had stayed at the truck driver’s residence in Delaware willingly and was not held against her will. Gallorini was charged with one count of Providing a False Statement to Law Enforcement (Felony). Gallorini was arraigned through JP2 and committed to WCI in default of $500 secured bond.
