The Delaware State Police have issued a Gold Alert for a missing Lincoln man.

The Delaware State Police are currently searching for Brian J. Downey, 64 of Lincoln, DE. Downey was last leaving his residence located in the 7000 block of Dobbin Court in Lincoln around 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon and has not been seen or heard from since. He is described as a white male, 5’09” tall and 180 lbs. with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, white T-shirt, black sneakers, and eyeglasses. He may be operating a black 2011 Chrysler 300 bearing Delaware registration 252436.

Brian Downey’s medical condition is such that there is a real concern for his safety.
