On Tuesday, June 25, the Milford Police Drugs & Narcotics Division concluded a two month long investigation with the arrest of a 26 yo Milford man. The investigation was said to be a joint operation with Milford Drug & Narcotics Division along with Delaware State Police (DSP) Kent County Governors Task Force, DSP Kent County Drug Unit and Kent County Probation and Parole. James M. Carey was arrested and charged with Possession W/ The intent to deliver Marijuana- Drug Dealing, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Conspiracy 2nd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. According to police, Carey was taken into custody by detectives in the area of US 113 @ Old Shawnee Rd, after the execution of a search warrant by detectives at a residence in Milford. Police state, Carey also had a 4yo male juvenile in his custody at the time of his arrest. During the two month investigation, the time of arrest, along with the search warrant, a total of approximately 130 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, electronics and a vehicle were seized along with an undisclosed amount of USC. Carey was arraigned and released on $8,500 unsecured bond.
