On Thursday, August 1 officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division and K-9 Unit responded to the 200 block of Southeast 2nd Street to a report of an armed robbery. Police state that investigation revealed the suspect approached the victim, displayed what the victim believes was a handgun, and demanded money. The victim forfeited an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect and he fled. Officers from the K-9 Unit conducted an extensive search of the area, tracking the suspect for a considerable distance, before eventually losing leads to track further.
