Death Investigation In McDonald’s Parking Lot

On September 16 at approx 10:34 am the Milford Police Patrol Division and Criminal Division responded to the parking lot of Mcdonald’s Restaurant after receiving a report of a person possibly deceased in a parked vehicle. Upon arriving, the Milford Police made contact with the parked vehicle and observed a person in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Paramedics and Ambulance personnel arrived at the scene pronounce the person as being deceased. The person was later identified by Milford Police as Charles Bruce Horne, 55yo of Seaford. Investigation revealed that Mr. Horne had been deceased in the vehicle in the parking lot for about 24 hours prior to being discovered. The Milford Police turned Mr. Horne over to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for further investigation. No foul play is suspected at this time.
