Assault 2nd Degree, Terroristic Threatening

On Sunday, September 29 the Milford Police Department Patrol unit responded to the unit block of W. Thrush Dr. in the Meadows at Shawnee development in regards to some type of Domestic disturbance. Upon arrival officers found a 39 year old Lincoln man laying in the front yard with obvious facial injuries. Police state that through further investigation it was revealed that a 40 year old Dover man now identified as Clarence Hendricks Jr. was waiting at the residence for his ex-girlfriend and her friend. Hendricks allegedly struck the 50 year old female and dragged her out of the vehicle and then got in and started striking the 39 year old male victim. According to police, the male victim tried to get away in the vehicle and started driving while Hendricks continued to hit him. The male victim was able to escape the vehicle at which time Hendricks took possession of the vehicle, drove around the neighbor and back to the house where the male victim was and continued to strike him in the face. Hendricks then left in the victims vehicle. Hendricks has been apprehended and was charged with Assault 2nd degree, Criminal mischief under $1,500, Carjacking 1st degree, Terroristic Threatening, Malicious Mischief by a motor vehicle, offensive touching. Hendricks was issued a $36, 750 secured bond and transported to Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of bond he was also issued a no contact order with both victims. Hendricks is scheduled to appear in court later this week.
