City Of Milford Leaf Collection Service

From November 1st through January 31st the city offers leaf vacuum service. In an effort to cover the entire City, leaf pickup will be offered to all residents once a week. If residents have more leaves to be vacuumed, they must wait until the following week or leaves may be placed in the city issued Yard Waste container that is picked up every other Wednesday.

Leaves should be raked to the curb, but not in the street by 7:00 a.m. on your pick up day**. In order to help eliminate piles of leaves from blowing into the street, Public Works is asking residents to place a suitable tarp over their leaf pile (the tarp will be placed back on the homeowner’s property once the leaves have been removed).

The leaf vacuum will operate beginning on the day indicated by the following schedule in each area of town: (weather permitting)

Maroon Route – Monday**
Gold Route – Thursday**

**Due to the size of the city and only having one leaf vacuum, each area may take several days to collect and will be subject to weather conditions and demand. Please be patient as our crews are working hard to provide this valuable service to the citizens of the City of Milford.

WHICH ROUTE AM I?
Maroon Route – (Tuesday & Friday trash customers)
Gold Route – (Monday trash customers)
