Bulk Trash is collected on Wednesdays and should be scheduled by calling Customer Service at 422-6616. Any calls received after close of day Tuesday will be scheduled for the following Wednesday. Bulk Trash is not picked up on weeks that contain holiday closings. Bulk Trash is considered to be anything other than regular household trash,( i.e. furniture, appliances and large items.) Fees apply, (see fee sheet online), and will be added to your utility bill. Bulk is considered a “Special Pickup”.

Yard is a bi-weekly service offered to residents during the months of April thru October of each year. Yard waste is collected on a Wednesday, the same week as your recycling. All residents must have a city issued yard waste container in order to dispose of Yard Waste. All yard waste debris must be inside the container and NOT bagged. Any debris sitting outside the container WILL NOT be disposed of. During the months of Nov thru Jan the leaf vacuum will be in operation. Therefore, leaves can be put out to the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your collection day.

• Leaves-

Maroon Route –Monday**
Gold Route – Thursday**

**Due to the size of the city and only having one leaf vacuum, each area may take several days to collect and will be subject to weather conditions and demand. Please be patient as our crews are working hard to provide this valuable service to the citizens of the City of Milford.

** Items EXCLUDED from trash, recycling, or yard waste collection are tree stumps, rocks, dirt, sod, bricks, tires, iron, paint, construction materials, automobile batteries, propane tanks, and other items restricted by the landfill. If you have questions please refer to your Trash/Recycling schedule or contact the Customer Service Department at (302) 422-6616.
