Karen J. Lloyd

Screen Shot 2014-01-31 at 3.14.06 PMFELTON – Karen J. Lloyd slipped peacefully into the arms of her savior Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Kent General Hospital surrounded by the love of her family. She was 62.

Karen was born on December 28, 1951 in Dover, Delaware, daughter of the late Robert and Shirley (Price) Reichelt, Sr. She was a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, Class of 1970 and had worked as the executive director of the Milford Senior Center.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Francis Lloyd, a daughter Kimberly Swanstrom and her husband Nathan of Magnolia, a sister Kathryn Porterfield of Milford, a grandson Reis Lloyd Swanstrom, a sister-in-law Rose Reichelt of Lincoln, brother-in-law Robert Lloyd of Atlanta, GA, a niece Kara Reichelt of Milton and a nephew Robert Reichelt III of Wilmington and her extended church family and friends.

A visitation will be 6-9 Tuesday, February 4 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
Service will be 12 noon Wednesday, at Grace Presbyterian Church, 350 McKee Rd., Dover. Burial will follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
