Winter Storm Pax Approaches

As Winter Storm Pax approaches, The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area. According to NWS, the Milford area will receive snow before midnight tonight, then snow and sleet. With a low around 30 degrees a northeast wind is expected to increase from 10 to 15 mph to 18 to 23 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100% with new snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

On Thursday the storm system is expected to bring rain, snow, and sleet before noon, then rain and sleet between noon and 5pm, then rain, snow, and sleet after 5pm. With a high near 37degrees a north wind is expected at 22 to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100% and new snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
