Children’s Theater Presents Snow White

Second Street Players Children’s Desert Theater will present Snow White by Tim Kelly, Friday February 28th, Saturday March 1st and Sunday March 2nd. The following week the show will be held on Friday and Saturday 7pm and Sunday 1pm at the Milford Riverfront Theatre located at 2 South Walnut Street in downtown Milford.

The wonderful world of the Brothers Grimm is brought to life in this delightful adaptation of the familiar story filled with excitement, adventure and fun. All the familiar friends will be there including the lovely Princess, the mischievous Dwarfs, the Prince, the Huntsman and the Evil Queen. With a unique twist, audience will also meet the hilarious palace Cats and the Enchanted Vixen. In this version, the Magic Mirror not only talks but it walks and attendees will shiver and shake as the scheming Queen transforms herself into various personalities like Esmeralda, the young gypsy and a withered crone so horrible even the Queen herself is terrified. Laughs, chases through the forest and more than enough stage magic to delight audiences of all ages.

Director Alaina Buchanan and Assistant Director Michael Forrest bring this classic tale to life on the Riverfront Theater. The cast is made up of adults and children of all ages. The audience is encourage to stay after the show for a special desert treat and a autograph session with all of the characters. On Friday,February 28, the theatre will host a pay what you can performance where individuals can bring the whole family and make a donation for this show. Saturday and Sunday Tickets are $10 for Adults and $5 for children 18 years and younger. Tickets can be purchased at the box office.
