Burglary 3rd Degree, Theft Under $1500 victim of 62yo (Felony) and Conspiracy 2nd Degree.

On the night of April 13, 2014, the Milford Police responded to the 400 block of Kings Hwy after receiving a report of two suspicious subjects walking through the yards of residents. Upon arriving, police made contact with the two subjects, one was identified as James Alton Jr., 26yo of Milford and the other subject identified as Michael A. Selner, 27yo of Felton. Both Alton and Selner were charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Theft Under $1500 victim of 62yo or older (Felony) and Conspiracy 2nd Degree. Police state that investigation revealed that both Alton and Selner were traveling on foot when they went onto the 62yo victim’s property, entered the 62yo victim’s vehicle and removed items. According to police, the two were still in possession of the property when they were taken into custody by police. Both were arraigned and Alton was released on $1000 unsecured bond while Selner was committed to SCI in default of $1000 secured bond.
