On April 19, 2014 The Milford Police Criminal Division arrested and charged a 21yo Milford man in connection with the shooting that occurred on April 9, 2014 at a residence in the 100 block of Montgomery St. Jhavon R. Goode was charged with Assault 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by

The Milford Police is asking the public’s help with information pertaining to two separate shootings.
On the evening of April 9,2014 the Milford Police responded to a residence located in the 100 block of Montgomery St after receiving a report of a victim with gunshot wounds. Detectives discovered that 33yo male victim had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Christiana Care Hospital and is listed in stable condition.

On the night of April 4, 2014, the Milford Police responded to Milford Bayhealth Hospital after receiving a report of a victim entering the hospital emergency room with multiple gunshot wounds. The 20yo male victim advised detectives that he shot himself accidentally but stated this after he stated initially that he was shot by an unknown person somewhere on Montgomery St. The 20yo victim was treated and later released.

It is unknown at this time if the two shooting are related. This is an ongoing investigation.
