Wanted Suspect In Motorcycle Crash

The Milford Police Department responded to a motorcycle crash at South Rehoboth Blvd at Evans Street. Police state that the investigation revealed that on April 22, 2014 at approximately at 2:58pm Alan Long, 61 of Camden was operating his 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on S Rehoboth Boulevard approaching Evans Street. A silver pickup operated by a male was in the left turn lane on S Rehoboth Blvd to make a left turn onto East St. Police state that as Long approached the intersection the silver truck turned in front of Long.  Mr. long applied his brakes to avoid a collision and ended up laying the bike down and sliding approximately 25 yards on S Rehoboth Blvd. Mr. Long was transported to Milford Bayhealth Emergency Room with a led injury. The driver of the silver truck continued on Evans St. According to police, Mr. Long’s injuries appear to be non-life threatening however no further information is available regarding his condition.
