On April 26,2014 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 32yo Milford man stemming from an incident that took place hours earlier outside a residence in the 700 block of SE Front St. Jose Serrano was charged with Assault 3rd Degree and Terroristic Threatening. The 36yo female victim responded into the Milford Police Department to report that she had just been assaulted during a domestic dispute with Serrano. Police state that investigation revealed that the two were involved in a verbal dispute when Serrano grabbed the victim by her neck and threw her to the ground. Serrano then slapped the victim and threatened to kill her. The female victim was able to flee from Serrano and respond to the Milford Police Department. Serrano later responded into the police department also, where he was taken into custody. Serrano was arraigned and was released on $2000 unsecured bond. The female victim suffered minor injuries during the incident but refused medical treatment.
