p2Shoplifting under $1500 (4 counts) and Identity Theft

On April 25,2014 the Milford Police responded to Walmart Department Store after receiving a report of a shoplifting. Upon arriving, police took a 43yo Harrington man into custody stemming from the incident. James R. Shelton was charged with Shoplifting under $1500 (4 counts) and Identity Theft. Police state that investigation revealed that on March 29, 2014, April 21, 2014 and April 24, 2014 Shelton removed merchandise from Walmart without paying. Shelton would utilize the self checkout and only pay for certain merchandise while concealing the merchandise he did not purchase. Shelton was also wanted out of Seaford Police Department for similar incidents out of Seaford Walmart. Shelton was also wanted out of JP4 and Sussex CCP. Shelton was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $17,500 secured bond.
