The Milford Police Criminal Division is asking the public’s help in an Attempted Armed Robbery Case. Detectives are investigating an Attempted Armed Robbery that occurred at the Sunoco Gas Station located at 350 Milford-Harrington Hwy on 6/10/14 at approx. 9:15pm. The 53yo victim and the 17yo victim were in the parking lot of the business when they were approached by an unknown white male. The unknown white male displayed a knife, grabbed the 17yo victim and held the knife to the 17yo victim’s throat while demanding money from the 53yo victim. The 17yo victim was knocked to the ground by the unknown white male as the 53yo victim attempted to intervene. The 53yo victim was also knocked to the ground by the unknown white male. The unknown white male then fled the area on foot without obtaining any money or property from the victims. The victims refused medical treatment. The unknown white male is described as being 6’00 to 6’02, thick build 200 to 225 lbs wearing dark colored clothing. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact Det.
