Milford High School Fall Sports begin Friday, August 15th. Any student athlete interested in playing must have completed a few items in order to be deemed eligible by the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA). A Student must have earned five credits from the previous school year and two of those credits must come from core classes.

Athletes must also have a completed physical done on a DIAA form. This must be done before the student would be allowed to practice. If a physical is not completed and handed in, the student athlete will not be allowed to try-out or practice. Forms can be picked up at the main office of the Milford High School or printed off the Milford School District website by clicking on Athletics, then Athletics Calendar. Go to the lower left side titled LINKS and click on the DIAA Physical form to look over and print off for the students’ doctor. It is advised to call now to schedule your appointment, other options would be to call and check the availability at the High School Wellness Center or go to any area walk-in clinic to have the child’s physical performed.

Milford Middle school athletes must follow the same rules except their start date is Monday, August 25th the first day of school. Middle School Cross Country and Field Hockey will stay on the Academy and High School campus for their practices. Middle School Football and Boys soccer will be bussed over to the old Middle School for their practices each day. This is where parents will pick them up after practices.
