On October 2, 2014 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 36yo Felton man for sex offender violations and drug charges. Edward Musnuf was charged with Sex Offender who resides within 500 feet of a School, Failure to Re-Register as a Sex Offender and Possession of Marijuana. Milford Police Criminal Division and Patrol Division responded to Travelers Inn Motel after the Milford Police School Resource Unit received information that a Tier 3 registered Sex Offender was residing in one of the motel’s rooms. Milford Police made contact with Musnuf in one of the rooms and took him into custody without incident. Police state that Musnuf was also found in possession of 13 grams of marijuana. Investigation determined that Musnuf was residing within 500 feet of the Milford Central Academy and the Milford Senior High School. Musnuf was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $500 secured bond.
On October 1, 2014 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 40yo Milford woman stemming from an incident that occurred within the 100 block of Montgomery St. Johanna Gonzalez was arrested and charged with Harassment and Violation of a No Contact Order (Breach of Release). According to police, investigation revealed that Gonzalez harassed a 12yo juvenile victim after being court ordered not to have any contact with the juvenile victim stemming from incidents from June of 2014 and September of 2014. Gonzalez was arraigned and committed to WCI in default of $525.00 cash bond.
On October 1, 2014 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 34yo Ellendale man stemming from a domestic incident that occurred on September 26, 2014 within the 300 block of Lovers Lane. Jorge Ramirez-Velasquez was charged with Criminal Contempt of a Domestic Violence Protective Order, Endangering the Welfare of a Child (5 counts) and Offensive Touching. Police state that investigation revealed that Velasquez approached the 20yo female victim and began yelling and cursing at her. Velasquez then grabbed the female victim before finally fleeing the scene. The incident occurred in the presence of five juveniles ages 1,4,7,9 & 10. Velasquez was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $15,000 secured bond.
On September 29, 2014 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 40yo Milford woman in connection with an assault that occurred on September 25, 2014 at a residence located in the double digit block of Columbia St. Candy Huffman aka Candy Russell was charged with Assault 2nd Degree of a Victim 62yo or Older. According to police, investigation revealed that Huffman got into a verbal dispute with the 62yo female victim over living arrangements. During the dispute the 62yo female victim attempted to flee from Huffman into a bedroom. Huffman forced her way into the bedroom and struck the 62yo female victim numerous times. The 62yo female victim suffered a fractured hip and shoulder as a result. The 62yo female victim was transported to Milford Bayhealth Hospital for treatment for her injuries. Huffman was arraigned and released on $5000.00 unsecured bond.
On September 29, 2014 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 23yo Milford woman stemming from an incident that occurred in the parking lot of Milford Commons Plaza. Paige Morris was charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Milford Police state that Morris was taken into custody after discovering that Morris had an active capias out KCCP. Morris was also found to be in possession of Heroin. Morris was arraigned and committed to WCI in default of $300 secured bond.
On September 27, 2014 the Milford Police Criminal Division arrested and charged a 31yo Dover man in connection with series burglaries that occurred at multiple locations on different dates. Brandon N. Woodlin was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree (3 counts), Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree, Possession of Burglar Tools (3 counts), Theft Under $1500 (3 counts) and Criminal Mischief Under $1000 (3 counts). Police state that detectives discovered that on April 12, 2014 Woodlin broke into La Chimenea bar. Woodlin damaged property in the bar and stole items. On May 9, 214 Woodlin attempted to break into Milano’s Pizza but was unsuccessful. On June 10, 2014 Woodlin broke into Concord Pet Foods and Supplies store. Woodlin damaged store property and stole items. On 7/9/14 Woodlin broke into Hometown Diner. Woodlin damaged the diner’s property and stole items. Woodlin was arraigned and released on $8,900.00 unsecured bond.
