Milford Celebrates Homecoming Week

Milford High School celebrated their Homecoming week beginning Monday, October 20. That night students attended the annual Powderpuff game where girls from the junior and senior class challenged each other to a game of flag football. On Friday, October 24, the Annual Homecoming Parade traveled from the former Milford Middle School building, along Walnut Street to Milford High School where students watched the Milford Football team take on Woodbridge. At halftime during friday night’s football game the Milford High School Top 10 Homecoming King and Queen Candidates were announced on the field. Student clubs and athletic teams nominated each representative and the senior class voted to narrow down the representatives of each club or team to the 10 top candidates. The entire school voted Matt Groce and Kasey Fry the 2014 Homecoming King and Queen. The weekend festivities were capped off with a semi-formal dance in the school gymnasium on Saturday, October 25.
