Assault With A Deadly Weapon

3Assault 2nd Degree and Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony

On the night of October 31, 2014 the Milford Police responded to Silver Lake Apartment Complex after receiving a report of a large fight and a possible stabbing. After arriving at one of the apartment complex buildings, Milford Police discovered blood on the floor of the hallway and a bloody knife lying on the floor. Milford Police later received information that the 20yo male victim was at a local hospital in Critical Condition. Police state that investigation revealed that the male victim had been banned from the apartment complex and had a no contact order with Jhlea Kiser, 19yo of Milford. Detectives discovered that the male victim and Kiser were involved in an altercation in the hallway of one of the buildings at the apartment complex. According to police, during the altercation Kiser displayed a knife and attacked the male victim. Kiser stabbed the male victim in the upper torso and extremities. Kiser was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony. Kiser was arraigned and committed to WCI in default of $22,611.50 secured bond. Kiser also had an active capias out of JP3. The male victim is now in stable condition at a local hospital.
