3Aggravated Menacing, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Resisting Arrest, Criminal Mischief Under $1000, Disorderly Conduct and Offensive Touching

On December 15, 2014 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 23yo Milford man stemming from an incident that occurred at a residence located in the 400 block of N. Walnut St. Elvin Perez-Romero was arrested and charged with Aggravated Menacing, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Resisting Arrest, Criminal Mischief Under $1000, Disorderly Conduct and Offensive Touching. According to police, investigation revealed that Perez-Romero and the 38yo male victim were involved in a verbal dispute. During this dispute, Perez-Romero began punching the 38yo male victim. Perez-Romero was then separated from the 38yo male victim by another individual in the residence. Perez-Romero then returned armed with a knife. Perez-Romero proceeded to go after the 38yo male victim again but was again stopped by the other individual in the residence and disarmed of the knife. The incident took place inside the residence in the presence of a 1yo child. Perez-Romero then obtained a golf club and began striking the windshield of a vehicle owned by the 41yo female victim. Police state that upon the Milford Police arriving, Perez-Romero refused to obey officers’ commands and charged at officers while wearing a bandana on his face. After a brief struggle, officers were able to take Perez-Romero into custody. No one received medical treatment for injuries in this incident. Perez-Romero was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of$19,250.00 cash bond.
