Possession with the Intent to Deliver

Possession with the Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession with the Intent to Deliver Ecstasy.

On December 19, 2014 and December 22, 2014 the Milford Police Drugs and Narcotics Division arrested 3 suspects at the conclusion of a 3 month long Multi- Agency investigation. Detectives with the Milford Police Drugs and Narcotics Division, the Milford Police Criminal Division, Milford Police Special Operations Group, Milford Police K-9 Division along with the assistance of ATF, DSP Governors Task Force Unit, DSP Drug Unit, Georgetown Police, Harrington Police, Oceanview Police, and Blades Police executed multiple search warrants on multiple residences and vehicles throughout the city limits stemming from the lengthy investigation. Ashley Ortiz, 23yo of Milford, Tyrell Waters, 23yo of Lincoln and Brandon Barnes, 27 yo of Milford were all arrested and charged as a result. Both Ortiz and Waters were each charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Waters was additionally charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver Ecstasy, Conspiracy 2nd Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Barnes was charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver Ecstasy, Conspiracy 2nd Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Detectives recovered 18.7 grams of Cocaine, 6.5 grams of MDMA Ecstasy, multiple grams of marijuana and digital scales. Detectives also seized one vehicle and $800 in US currency. Waters was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $20,000.00 secured bond. Ortiz was arraigned and committed to WCI in default of $10,000.00 secured bond. Barnes was arraigned and released on $12,000.00 unsecured bond.
