4Forgery 1st Degree, Attempted Forgery 1st Degree, Theft By False Pretense Under $1500 and Local Fugitive

On January 5, 2015 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 29yo Millsboro man stemming from two incidents that occurred at Grotto’s Pizza Restaurant on January 2, 2015 and on January 5, 2015. Isaiah Fields was charged with Forgery 1st Degree, Attempted Forgery 1st Degree, Theft By False Pretense Under $1500. Police state that investigation revealed that Fields had gone to Grotto’s Pizza Restaurant on January 2, 2015 and used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase food. Then on January 5, 2015, just after the restaurant reported the incident from January 2, 2015 to the Milford Police, Fields arrived again at the restaurant and attempted to use another counterfeit $100 bill to purchase food. The Milford Police were contacted again, responded to the restaurant and took Fields into custody without incident. Fields was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $7000.00 secured bond. Fields was also wanted on an active capias out of JP2.
