Assault 2nd Degree, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Offensive Touching, Tampering with a Witness and Malicious Interference with 911 Communications (2 counts)

On January 31, 2015 the Milford Police Criminal Division arrested and charged a 30yo Milford man in connection with two separate domestic incidents that occurred at a residence located in the 100 block of Franklin St. Gabriel Fritz was charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Tampering with a Witness and Malicious Interference with 911 Communications in connection with a domestic dispute that occurred on January 30, 2015. According to police, Detectives discovered that Fritz was involved in a verbal dispute with the 21yo female victim. During the dispute, Fritz obtained a metal object and struck the 21yo female victim in the face with it. Then as the female victim attempted to contact the police, Fritz disconnected the phone call. The female victim received a large laceration to the face and was later treated and released at Milford Bayhealth Hospital. Fritz was also charged with Offensive Touching and Malicious Interference with 911 Communications stemming from a second domestic dispute that occurred on January 31, 2015. Police state that detectives discovered that during a verbal dispute with the 21yo female victim, Fritz punched the victim in the upper torso. The female victim attempted to contact police but the phone call was again disconnected by Fritz. Upon Milford Police arrival, Fritz was taken into custody without incident. Fritz was also wanted on an active capias out of JP14. Fritz was arraigned on all charges and committed to SCI in default of $2,572.00.
