Robbery 2nd degree, Hindering Prosecution, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Offensive Touching and Criminal Mischief Under $1000

The Milford Police arrested and charged a 19yo Milford man and a 41yo Milford woman stemming from a strong-arm robbery that occurred in the 200 block of NE Front St. Dwan T. Jarvis was charged with Robbery 2nd degree, Hindering Prosecution, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Offensive Touching and Criminal Mischief Under $1000. Yvette R. Jarvis aka Yvette R. Harpe was charged with Hindering Prosecution and Conspiracy 2nd Degree. Police state that investigation revealed that Dwan Jarvis approached the 29yo female victim on foot. Dwan Jarvis then physically grabbed the victim’s purse from her arm and fled on foot. Milford Police later located Dwan Jarvis at a residence located in the 200 block of S. Washington St. It was revealed that Yvette Jarvis assisted Dwan Jarvis in attempting to hide and destroy evidence once she discovered that the Milford Police were attempting to take Dwan Jarvis into custody. The 29yo female victim was not injured in the incident and did not receive medical treatment. Dwan Jarvis was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $24,500 cash bond. Yvette Jarvis was arraigned and released on $4,000 unsecured bond.
