Armed Domestic Assault

On February 25, 2015 the Milford Police responded to a residence located in the 200 block of N. Walnut St. after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arriving, Elvin O. Perez-Romero, 23yo of Milford was arrested and charged with Aggravated Menacing, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Noncompliance with Bond Conditions and Assault 3rd Degree. Police state that investigation revealed that Perez-Romero got into a verbal dispute with the 57yo female victim and the 38 yo male victim. During the dispute, Perez-Romero retrieved a knife and attempted stab the 38yo male victim with it but was unsuccessful. The 57yo female victim stepped in between the two and was able to take the knife away from Perez-Romero. Perez-Romero then retrieved an eating fork and attempted to stab the 57yo female victim but was unsuccessful as well. Perez-Romero then began punching the 57yo female victim in the face. Perez-Romero had been court ordered not to have any contact with the 38yo male victim stemming from a domestic incident that occurred on 2/24/15. Perez-Romero was arraigned and committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $31,000.00 secured bond.
