The practice is part of the Bayhealth Medical Group, a partnership of highly trained physicians, their clinical staff, and an administrative support team that operates practices throughout central and southern Delaware.

“Dr. Morris is a wonderful complement to our practice,” said Raghu Dharmavaram Kottam, MD. “With the addition of Dr. Morris, we are better able to respond to the growing need for gastroenterological care in our community.”

The practice specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, management, and treatment of the following symptoms and conditions: Bleeding in the digestive tract, Abdominal pain and discomfort, Inflammatory bowel disease, Constipation and diarrhea, Difficulty swallowing, Colorectal cancer, stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, and liver cancer, Gallbladder disease, Hemorrhoids, Liver disease (hepatitis), Celiac disease and lactose intolerance, Ulcers, Hernias and Heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Fellowship trained in gastroenterology and hepatology, Dr. Morris’ primary interests include colorectal cancer screening, non-surgical hemorrhoid treatments and hepatology – a branch of medicine concerned with diseases that affect the liver, gallbladder, biliary tree, and pancreas. Dr. Morris earned her doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She continued her training by completing a residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, FL. She went on to complete a fellowship in hepatology at University of Miami, Miami, FL, and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Morris certified by the American Board in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Most recently, Dr. Morris worked in emergency medicine at Veterans Hospital Administration in Miami, FL, and as a gastroenterologist at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA.
